Hi to you all ..... welcome to the Blog of Hai Long..... herein known as The Dragons Blog....

If this is your first time Blogging, you may be a little confused. That would make two of us! I should, firstly, introduce myself. I am Stuart..... or as I am becoming known around these parts.... Hai Long.... meaning Dragon in the Sea.... or shorter version is Sea Dragon. I am also named Gurat by the Uyghur people..... a name I also like! For those that don't know me, I am from the Great Southern Land of Australia.... but I am taking a break to experience as much of the wider world as I can. I have never wanted to be rich, but always wanted a life rich with experiences.

At the moment it is China that is throwing up the sources of my experiences. It is a wonderful and scary place all at once. As for location.... for a Sea Dragon I am about as far from the sea as a dragon can be. I am in Karamay, Xinjiang Province..... 5000km from the coast of China on the Western edge of the Zhungarrian Basin.... a desert of immense proportions. What the hell am I doing here!?

I am on my own personal mission to do something in this world that makes a difference to people and leaves the world a better place. I felt I was ineffectual in this whilst surrounded by the comforts of Australia.... perhaps it's too easy to stay in a comfort zone if it's offered. The Blog is an addition to this..... people that want to can access a portal to my brain and that other mush that floats around in my head from time to time (thoughts). It is another tool that I'm using to work towards my goal of understanding the world I live in.... and everyone else getting to know a little about me. So I hope you return from time to time.... you're always welcome!
